Secrets no one will ever know.

Reasons I cannot explain.

More than half-hidden.

More than half a lie.

A voice no one will ever hear.

Wisdom I cannot give.

Less than half-living.

Less than forgiven.

Sadness no one will ever understand.

Loneliness I cannot escape.

Wish you goodnight.

Wish you goodbye.

More than a lie
That’s more than half-hidden.
Still less than living;
Yet never forgiven.

If you care enough and look hard enough, you can find the truth in every lie.

If no one cares and no one looks, I guess it's just your little secret.

Thanks :). It was totally random so I was a little worried people might be completely thrown off into some random direction and be absolutely dazed. I'm very glad to hear that's not the case :D.

Thank you :glomp:.

Begin, murderer. Pox, leave thy damnable faces and begin. Come, the croaking raven doth bellow for revenge.

:pointandlaugh: :earth:

And other strains of woe, which now seem woe,
Compared with loss of thee, will not seem so.

Well I didn't really understand the deepness...but it was still a cool read. :D I think I sort of understand it better now...was this one about the person you were talking to, too?

Oh, don't worry :) I don't get offended or upset if readers can't "analyze" poetry. I just get a little irritated when nobody tries :(. Poor poets, all that lateral thinking gone unpursued by the public!

It's perfectly fine . Truth is, this particular poem is just one of those things only the writer themselves really gets, I guess. Mostly because I've never explained in full this particular topic, to anyone . And I probably never will. Being a person who tends to keep to themselves (whether that's healthy or not ^^;), there are a lot of things that go unsaid, and as a writer, like many others, putting it into a poem or into a novel can sometimes help me to let things go :). Of course, everything artistic is completely up to interpretation. Now that I look at it, yes, I think this could easily apply to that person I mentioned. You have a good eye lol ;p.

Oh wow that makes a lot of sense, writing poems as an outlet that way! I always knew that people did it, I just never really understood how. But that makes a lot of sense, hiding it in symbolism...how cool~!

Beautiful! I love the structure here, the double spaced makes you read with extra precision and then at the end, it rushes to a halt. The whole thing actually makes me quite sad, in a good way, I mean I relate to this in a way...

Pretend its just a romance novel
And we're hero's of the cause
In the end we'll be exulted
With a standing applause...

:) That's great to hear. I just love any kind of writing that speaks to people on an individual basis, like a little dedication to you sort-of-thing. I'm glad you liked this :D.

The last stanza is masterful although I'm not sure what it means to me yet, I'll have to come back to it.
